Biological apping wing flight overs a variety of advantages over conventional xed wing aircraft and rotor craft. For example, apping propulsion can over the speed of fi xed wing aircraft at similar scales while providing the maneuverability of rotor craft. Avian species easily display feats of perching, payload carrying, endurance
